Actually I have a cd version of wc1/2 combo that came with its own slowdown utility. that one frose dos when it tried to disable the internal cache. I download moslo and am going to try to tweak that one to working once i get around to it.

Already ran into a hitch. The slowdown utility released with WC1/2 pack is not compatibile with the amd k6-2 processors or anything newer either. Will look for another solution for wc1 to be playable then.

No you read it right. It is XP x64 edition however the incompatibility could be similar to Vista's, but i don't know.

I have not tried installing secret ops yet however prophecy itself did install and ran without compatibility set. I believe that compatibility is set but i can double check however it has been tried on the install.exe. I may have had secret ops install before on this pc and it has worked before.

Install.exe crashes on my XP x64 edition computer. I may work similar to vista if there is a fix for that which has been released. I have tried compatibility mode and several input options (800x600 and 1280x1024). I am running XP x64, Athlon x2 4200+, 2gb ram 667mhz, XFX 7600 GT XXX vid card...

There is Also VDMSound which includes a configuring tool for Windows to DOS games. YOu might try that program but WC2 runs slower than WC3 so you might need to do some tweaking to get it to work properly. I have not tried to get it to work yet since i had an old pc to run it on if i so wish.
