Good find! Does that quote take into account all variants of the fighter, or do you think it was referring to one of them in particular? Also, am I mistaken in thinking the reaper cannon was new technology in 2669? I figure I must be for the Voices of War claim to make the most sense.

Very nice info! Any other ships you'd throw into the mix in terms of most prevalent wartime mainstays?

Awesome, appreciate the clarifications. That's a really cool comparison for the Scimitar. I like that a lot! Looking forward to hearing everyone else's two cents as well.

Thanks for your reply! Do you happen to know if those early Dralthi were the Mk. 1 variants (from WC1 I believe), the ones depicted in the movie, or something else entirely? While we have some of the exact years that fighters came into production, I'm also wondering about how often they were...

This is a bit of an old-school discussion topic. Which ships (preferably Confederation fighters, but Kilrathi fighters, capships, etc. are more than welcome too) do you think saw the most action during the war (2634-2669)? Which ones were produced the most, and which stayed in...

Thanks to those of you that have joined up! Things are getting pretty intense with this initial dogfight ^^

Hey there! I'm not sure that there are any rules regarding pilot roles. So far we've been able to join any squadron we like. Currently the ship has a Broadsword squadron, Rapier squadron and Scimitar squadron. I'll ask Silent Hunter to come on here and answer your guys' questions a bit more...

Right now I think you could be pretty much any type of character you want. We have the ship's Captain, one of the squadron commanders, a headstrong female bomber pilot and a fresh-faced rookie currently as our cast of characters, with a few wingmen/tail gunners on the side.

Hi! Not to my knowledge...what would that be exactly? Also are you interested in joining up with us?

Hey guys, So we've been involved in a forum-based sim for the past few months now, and it's been both fun and productive. The one thing we're really lacking is participants, and it would be really great to have some more people involved. The link to the sim can be found below...

The sim has just gotten underway. Feel free to join up!

I actually voted for Confed as the enemy of choice. I think a game from the Kilrathi perspective would be nice, or perhaps another foray into the Border Worlds (I've always wanted to play UE, but it's plagued my computer with errors for years). WC4 is one of my personal faves, so fighting the...

There are several new threads open now, including info on our carrier and fighter wing. They are taking applications, which I think will really help get things going. If you take a look at some of their other sims I think you'll get a feel for how things work. It seems very fun and...

Just wanted to encourage more people to post on their forum. Silent has got a great concept for the setting and backstory, and everyone has been extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Hope to see some of you guys there!

Yeah, I considered the Hellcat, but then I realized that I really don't like the Hellcat against Dralthi at all on Nightmare (Arrows can dodge their missile spam much more effectively). I ended up beating the mission by making a personal discovery: Hobbes is probably the best wingman in WC3. I...
