i dont think CR has the rights to the games anymore either, however, if the TV show is a success then it is likely that EA will release more WC games anyway! :) This could be the start of something big..... after all IIRC LOAF said that the WCA won its timeslot when airing on TV and it was only...

i personally believe that Blair is still alive because of that Nephilem tower that drifted through the wormhole in the last cutscene, however i believe this was done in order to leave the option of Blair surviving (and returning) open in case the creators wanted to bring him back in the next...

i have read "the star trek fact files" section on transporting and have briefly summarised the transporter process as working roughly like this: 1. the safety checks etc. are completed by the computer. (e.g. to make sure they are beaming to a safe area, that the transporters components are...

i dunno if these questions have been asked before but i just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about the 2 questions i have about the WCM. i was watching WCM last night and wondered why paladin was allowed to fly a broadsword when at that point in the movie everyone thought that he was...

i think it would be hard to say.... it probably would depend on whether the borg had encountered confed before or not. if they had not then i think that the midway's ship-killer cannon would blow it to pieces, either that or the torpedoes launched from the midway's bombers could destroy it...

now come on Thymerlord, kirk and the enterprise were sacrificed to save 230 million people.... thats not exactly small potatoes (unless they were a race of sentient small potatoes) :)

i dont think time travel should be used at all if it ever becomes possible.... it is too risky and i dont think it is possible to use it safely in any way. Bhaktadil, i remember reading somewhere of how scientists have already developed an extremely primative teleportation device already...

LOAF, how about "can more than one ship use the same jump point at the same time or can only one ship use the same jump point one at a time?" or something like that because in the WCM it was the said that the kilrathi were jumping into Sol "one ship at a time" and thus perhaps implying that more...

i hear these discussions all the time and what surprises me each time is that everyone tries to tie the games and movie together in an attempt to make them consistent. most movies based on a tv series or game or whatever dont always necessarily intend to make the film consistent with the "fan...

i would have to say WCIV all the way. it is still the best game i have ever played even though WCP and SO have better engines and all. it had the best engine of its time and the best story for a game that i have ever played. Vagabond's death, Tolwyn's evil and Maniac's mouth! what a game! i also...

"Me...... I'll be Casey's wingman" (The best part of the game i thought.... i got so worked up when i heard that. Blair is a legend!) or "What we need is a bonofide hero" (gotta love Maniac's impression of Blair there)...

i think it can be hard to find the right balance in such games between the amount of gameplay and the amount of movie. games that are full on movie most of the time (like maybe star trek: borg or the x-files game) are good to play but not to play again. i think having lots of movie is great...

the plunkett all the way for sure! by the way, correct me if im wrong but didnt the plunkett carry fighters as well? i know nothing is said about it in the database here but i swear i have seen hangars on them or something else that hinted toward them carrying fighters because i can remember...

LeHah, i am not asking anyone to go out and make any game.... i was only curious as to whether any WC fans out there would be interested in such a game. i was just interested in having a conversation about it, not starting a protest at EA to have it made. im sorry if the IDEA of a game based on...

you're right, LeHah, but i just thought that it wouldnt be that bad an idea.... i dont expect such a game to ever be made (if another WC game is ever made) its just something i thought about after reading about a similar star trek game. this is just hypothetical :)
