I give up! I cannot get it installed at all. I'm done!

I am using a stand alone version of Secret Ops.

I keep getting this message every time I try to install this game. I have given full permission for the Games folder. Does anyone know how to solve this? it IS in the Secret Ops folder. And I used a games folder to put secret ops in so I would not be using windows folders like program files...

OK I am trying to play privateer 2 the original DOS version in dosbox version 0.74-2....the problem I am having....is that after setup I am, running into setdatastreamspeed error messages. And the reason I am not using either the win 95 or GoG versions...is because on those...yes...you can play...

Yeah, I already have Kilrathi Saga, but you cannot use the DOS cheats on it....only invulnerability. In DOS version you can take out a ship or whole wing of ships! I may just play it as it is, if I cannot find out what I am doing wrong.

Well can you give me a step by step of this process? I have never tried it this way before. Usually, I just went to the cmd line of the exe file for the game. I just looked in C:\WING and did not find any .bat files at all!

Of course I tried it! From my post..."I do not think it is version 1.5 and though I have put the wcp ammo in the same directory, it still will not work....in prophecy OR secret ops" How would I know it didn't work otherwise?

I tried that with the wing commander deluxe CD version in the command line of wc.exe in the c: /WING directory....I went and fought against the kilrathi...did not work. No invulnerability or taking out of targets. I do not know if dosbox has anything to do with it or not (Mine is version 0.73)...

Did you read my post? I said in it, that I already have that version. From my post: "I already have Privateer 2 editor version 2.0, but that only seems to affect the players ship."
