I can understand all the skepticism, but it would at least be exciting to have anything new. If it fails, it fails. It will not take away our old games and our memories of them. It might be time to try out something new. But I wonder: How would the community to react to a new Wing Commander...

So I was watching the Men’s Soccer World Cup yesterday and I thought, I recognized the font on the back of Canada‘s jersey. Are they actually using the Wing Commander font or is it just really similar? You can take a look here or here at their official store.

Whaaaat? I am a bit embarrassed to only see those similarities now. I love both Wing Commander and Battlestar Galactica and besides the launch sequence, but I never saw the direct connection from the Viper to the Ferret. Now I feel stupid :D.

How cool is this? It looks more like an add-on than like a true sequel in this for, and really shows how much of an impact the whole close-up scenes of the final product make. Awesome!
