After almosts two years of sitting on the shelf, and me making peace with the idea of never flying it, I finally got my E-Starter out and flew it. And now I've recaught the bug for RC aviation. This has also got me to thinking about possibly trying to scratchbuild some WC designs for flight...

I loved the Raptor in WC1 and the Thunderbolt in 3. In WC2 I can't really recall a favorite, though I did better than average in the Rapier II. I also loved the Dragon in 4 for the same reason I loved the Thunderbolt big freakin guns :D. I loved charging mass drivers, cause I knew how to really...

I loved the Thunderbolt. Using it on patrol was like killing flies with a sledgehammer, reliable, fun, and squishy.:) I have managed to get a couple of kills on its rear turret before, but I have to switch views and take manual control of it, and the fighters I took out were already softened...

Ultimately, I'd like to do a full on IRiff of the WC movie, and make some money off my own comedy, but I have trouble coming up with jokes cause I get too much into the movie and can't focus on coming up with jokes. The jokes in the Cut are all from other riffs Mike, Kevin, and Bill have done...

Tolwyn for me. Not really any emotional reason, I just knew that there was a branching storyline and I didn't know which way it would go, or which way I wanted to go.

So no feedback, advice abuse?

I'm mainly curious about their performance. I'll probably get a Terbyte main drive, for all the games I play and want to play, because I need space more than speed and I fear change.:D

I bought my "used" for about the same price. When I opened it up it still had all the advertising literature from Beretta and the gunlock had not even been taken out of its box. I think the last owner had bought it, taken it out shooting once, ran into jams and thought he had gotten gipped. I...

A single fan with a good audio editing suite could do it in the course of a couple of days, if they're a workaholic, or a month. It wouldn't be a major difficulty to pull off, the only thing keeping me from it is a Microphone and software. As for Baen, you never know, they may be open to...

I didn't mean that the 92's were being phased out, just Impact guns was clearing theirs out for the launch of the 90TWO. The prices must have shifted though, because $800 was from a memory when I was looking to purchase a pistol for target shooting, I wound up going with a Neos, but this was a...

I'm getting ready to upgrade to a new machine and I've been pricing things out. I noticed that a bunch of companies have started offering solid stated hard drives, with no spinning disks or reader heads, their built kind of like an overgrown thumb drive, and they're being offered as primary hard...

The squadrons in WC1 and 2 had names but they didn't seem to bother with them in 3 and 4, probably because the character was rated to fly any of the fighters and therefore didn't move from squadron to squadron with each promotion. If I remember the tech correctly, the bugs could jump in and...

I've been a longtime fan of Rifftrax and they have a cuts featur on their website. This allows you to upload a video, or use one they already have, and put in previously recorded quotes from Mike, Kevin, and Bill. So I uploaded the final scene from Privateer 2, from the CIC's Holovids section...

Geez, Chris, where are you buying your 92's? The cheapest I've been able to find near me was $800, and they were on clearance to make room for the 90TWO models. At my local major chain gun store they carry mostly M-16s and AK-47s in full auto, and they range from about $11-15K. Machine pistols...

93s aren't that tough for a film armorer to get a hold of. Travolta had one in Broken Arrow, Mark Wahlberg packed two early in The Big Hit, and it served the basis for Robocop's Auto 9 - which appeared to be a blank gun in both the films and the TV serieses. I'm pretty sure the pistols were...

My two favorites are the ImRec and the Dumbfires. If I'm taking on a critical escort mission I'll load up on ImRecs and focus on the bombers. But in a fighter sweep there's nothing more gratifying than burning up on an enemy and jamming a Dart right up his tailpipe. There was even a time when I...

Specifically, the types of firearms used by the armorers to represent the weapons for the Confed Marines. The C-244, Hunter's pistol, appears to be a Beretta M92 with dress kit on it. I guess it could also be an M93R, but the Confed manual pictures suggest that they would have had to cut the...

I must have missed all the trailers prior to the first time I played, because I didn't realize Tolwyn was the villian until about half way through. I wasn't surprised, but starting out I didn't know.

I don't think Tolwyn's suicide was an act of defiance so much as desperation. By the end of WC4 he is extremely paranoid and scared out of his mind. According to the novel he knows at least a little bit about the Mantu coming and his fears are that the human race will not be ready or capable to...

From what I've read it picks up ten years from the end of Only The Good and they're not even going to bother explaining how the cliffhanger came out. Oh, and Iceman16 this isn't THE movie. It sounds like it's going to be a proper closing to the series. The movie was, from all reports I've...
