Oh right, Jetlag's high quality scans are much nicer than our scans. I don't think we have those on our server, but I'll have a look.

I can just make you a zip or something.

Virtual reality may finally take off in 2016, and the Oculus Rift, Sony's Morpheus and Samsung's Gear VR will all have one or more space combat sims available when they become available to consumers. Eve: Valkyrie, Elite: Dangerous and Star Citizen have all been confirmed as "VR-ready", and CCP...

Great. I've replaced the file. We'll run another update soon.

Is there any reason to keep the first version around as well, or should this file replace the old one?

We post a lot of interesting development documents and behind the scenes material in our daily news updates, but it can be difficult to keep track of them all. The goal of the Document Archive is to make it easier to research various aspects of Wing Commander's history by sorting those documents...

English actor Clive Owen is going back into space. Reports say he's been cast in the lead role of Valerian in the live-action adaptation of a long-running French comic series. The actor joins director Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, L?(C)on) and co-stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne in the big...

It wouldn't be difficult to restore it as a kind of museum piece (see webmirrors) but I feel that we should reach out to the owners first.

Over the next three days, GOG is discounting their entire EA catalog by 60%. Besides Wing Commander, Ultima and Crusader, their offer includes beloved classics such as Theme Hospital, Theme Park, Dungeon Keeper, Kyrandia and Populous. While you can buy an entire series outright for the sake of...

A few years ago, we did a brief rundown of the wealth of Wing Commander inspired imagery that can be found on the DeviantArt website. AD's come across a new pencil sketch of a Kilrathi, created by AirenWoodmoon. Like most Kilrathi drawings on DeviantArt, this one seems to draw mainly from their...

Try changing the file extension to something other than .zip. You can find lots of custom missions in the old missions section. Anything more you can tell us about this? Is Chartbuster an old videogame magazine? I couldn't find any trace of it. The file naming system does suggest Academy...

Matthew Lillard has been cast as the lead (grown-up) role in the upcoming remake of the 1990s comedy romp Problem Child. The actor will portray the father character, originally filled by the late John Ritter. Lillard has received critical acclaim for his directorial debut, Fat Kid Rules The...

The Academy animated series features a familiar but distinct design for the Bengal strike carrier that's always been one of my favorites. Community member unfortunatecrow kept staring at freeze frames of the Tiger's Claw until he could piece together a 3D representation. The resulting model is...

Classic FM, a UK radio station focusing entirely on classical music, did an extensive interview with videogame composer James Hannigan. His name may not sound familiar, but the titles he's worked on certainly will. Notable work includes Red Alert 3, RuneScape, Digital Anvil's Freelancer, Fifa...
