Wow! Who knew. Someone notify the president, that's quite the sale. XD

That's a lovely statement from Mark Hamil. Thanks for sharing!

You are still envied ;)

Well there are a lot of versions of MW2, The dos versions are easy to run in dosbox. Unfortunately it isn't available due to some crazy copyright issues. i got my jewl copy of mw2 on ebay as for ra, the dos version does run but i highly recommend openra which has great multiplayer

Well one problem with MWO was that the crysis mod, MW Living Legends was so much better in every conceivable way.

Heads up for soundfont collectors and midi fans, Timbres of Heaven 3.3 beta 9 has been released. In the midkar yahoo group, Don mentioned he fixed a lot of the old panning and level issues in the GM set. It's available in the midkar soundfont page: http://midkar.com/soundfonts/

My personal hope is that they one day bring Mechwarrior 2 series (at least) to gog.

Do you still have the midi files for these sound tracks? I would love to play putting it through newer 2016 sound samples and sound fonts.

To be honest, that is far more star trek like. And you call your self nerds :p Boy that's a lot of stars between you and the station at the end :D Very neat though.

Is that what the sun glasses are for? :p He never knew.

Kotor1 bores me. There are still a lot of bugs unless you get the fan content update.

I'm sure you will like the Brass in that set. :)

He should add this to his toolbox, I believe .sf2 files can be used with GarageBand, or at least they use too. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ndbor9ktoelg6nf/Timbres%20Of%20Heaven%20GM_GS_XG_SFX%20V%203.3%20Beta%202.7z?dl=0

I take it was sent to the FSO devs? I did double/triple check in case it popped up over the years before making such claims and it doesn't appear to be public anywhere. I figured a Saga dev would pop up and let me know I was being a fool. :) {EDIT}Should have done a simple google search...

I should be fair, FSO codewise really was a mess to work with, particularly back then. I'm sure post Diaspora if you were to have started now, you would have had a much easier time of it, or at least more tools to try different not Freespace-like things. So I'm sure the temptation to fork...

Not entirely true, I have myself experienced issues from upstream projects with my fiddling around on XBoard. I didn't go forking the whole GTK+ project because they did something I didn't like. Usually you just got to grit your teeth and bear with it or send the upstream project a pull...

I strongly, strongly believe the best thing you can do for this fan game is to try to get it to run off the main FSO project which has left the saga fork completely in the dust. On top of the latest graphics improvements (such as deferred lighting) and so many other engine improvements, this...

I love the four 5.25 floppy drives in the corners. Not much imagination for future technology. This beast runs on DOS!

well I've seen and heard much worse as fan projects go. In fact by that metric its actually Oscar worthy. :)

Out of curiosity were there any additional minor patches in this full release? I remember Durandal Dundradal (Sorry, your avatar always makes me see your name wrong :)) mentioning some sort of history bug?
