I'm looking forward to seeing Humphrey Bogart on screen!

Could you do a walkthrough video of the interior?

How did that work out for you? I know the models aren't exactly optimized for printing (...or at all).

Iron Sky!

You're not the only one!

Is that Wraith custom made?

Couldn't this be meant in the sense that the Austin's crew is smaller?

Maybe the length figure is based on the leading edge of the wingtips, which would make the Sartha quite a big bigger. But still, in an engagement with closing speeds measured in hundreds of kilometers the size difference is probably not that relevant. In flight sims I have a hard time judging...

One (minor) connection: in one scene Jim Lovell talks about how being lost over the ocean in his airplane. That plane: the McDonnell F2H Banshee, which of course shares its name with several Wing Commander ships. In real life it's better known as the plane in the novel The Bridges of Toko-Ri...

Lexus does like big-name voice actors. It used to be Maurice LaMarche (also a Canadian).

I'm not, though? I don't think you or anyone have the the obligation to document their work because it takes time away from actually doing the work in the first place and I'd much rather that work be done. I can think of a number of projects that have suffered because of that. And doing it...

I am fairly certain I have sat through more obscure technical lectures. Like does this fifty-minute video about the architecture of the F-14 flight computer with 1.1 million views count as technical enough? We live in an era where there are entire game developers dedicated to making assembly...

Eh, is it? I spend a fair bit of time reading articles and looking at videos that are mostly lines of code. Maybe I'm just weird or it's because I do it for practical purposes to help with my hobby, but look at it another way: other people do, too. A lot more people are doing programming and...

While we're on the subject you should add Zulu to the movie list:

Is there a reason it's not happening today? Especially since it falls on a weekend this time.

I always confuse the name of the corvette Kagimasha from End Run with Kurosawa's 1980 film Kagemusha. No idea what a kagimasha is.

You're welcome, I just wish I could be of more help. If it wasn't submitted to the site directly it's probably not going to be in the file archives, especially when it was 20 years ago. A lot of the space sites are gone now, although I don't remember that one being very big even at its peak...

They both have a character named Sam!

Could you link to the original thread? A lot of people here don't follow Gemini Gold or Vega Strike in general. We have a dedicated Gemini Gold forum but it's mostly inactive. (I would redirect you to the Vega Strike forums but they're even more dead than that one).

I think this is why there's so much speculation about it: other than the Concordia in the intro, they're never seen again. The Thunderbolt and Excalibur appeared in Secret Ops a year after Prophecy, meanwhile the Rapier and Broadsword don't appear anywhere again until 2007. The Wing Commander IV...
