Ooh, I think I got that game during a steam sale, never tried it, like about 90% of games on my steam list...

Most of the time they are, though due to local restrictions, they may have to provide a different game. A few times this has happened in Europe. For PS+, both North American, European and Japanese PSNs have offered completely different games, so it can get confusing since most of the time they...

Looks interesting. Guess we'll have to see how long it takes me to hit my first request for money.

Depends on the magazine. Some magazines were designed to sell ads, so the "content" in them was really just generated from the press kit and perhaps a few minutes of demo play. The better ones would actually review something - either the full version itself, a demo, or a prerelease version that...

To avoid going through the process of capturing, a lot of companies had press kits with screenshots. Marketing would just use those press kits (which often have high-res "camera ready" artwork for publishing) It wouldn't surprise me that the coincidental screenshots (or almost all of them) came...

Could you put them into a collection or something? Considering there's 45 pages of 30 ships (or what passes for ships...) it's a bit of work trying to find each one...A one-stop place would make it much easier.

I saw that Academy DVD. Automated pricing bots are always fun on Amazon. Some of the more expensive books on Amazon - got a spare few million? http://www.michaeleisen.org/blog/?p=358

Is it only on Amazon and iTunes? I can't find it on Netflix or Hulu... Amazon doesn't cover Canada, and it's expensive on iTunes Canada. Netflix seems to know about it, but doesn't have it. Hulu just has the trailer.

Dammmmmmmmnnnnn That was GOOD! I'm impressed.

The only one I can think of close to food is "Eat it", and maybe a bit of "Dare to be stupid" OTOH, I would love to see if the cake is a lie with Still Alive...

Does your PC have PCI slots? If so, have you reserved the IRQ, Memory and IO spaces associated with the card in the BIOS? PCI supports dynamic reassignment, and if you have ISA cards like an SB Pro, you need to tell the BIOS that it can't use those resources when allocating them to PCI...

There's the 90/10 rule (or 80/20 rule) - where the first 90 (or 80) % of the work is done in the first 10 (or 20) % of the time. It's an annoying thing - but you'll see massive progress like this in a little over a month, but then it's all the little things that you need to do to finish it off...

The Xbone controller is interesting - it's not as "hefty" as the PS4 controller (which is 1000x better than the PS3 controller), nor as heavy as the Xbox360 controller. At first, I thought it felt a bit too "cheap" because of its lightness, but after heaving used it, it's feels good. can't...

FYI - the new color scheme didn't take for me. So you had this awful awful grey-on-white and blue thing going. To change it, go to your user control panel (click on your name on the upper right, then under Settings, click on Preferences and change the theme to Darkened-Red.

Well, if you chose that option, and don't make the cut, Indiegogo charges you 9%. If you hit the goal, they only charge you 4%. If they don't get the $32M, that would mean over a million dollars for Indiegogo. Personally, I don't like indiegogo purely because they charge you immediately. They...

Well, a Blu-Ray drive is cheap (under $100 for a Blu-Ray writer, even!). If you want a Blu-Ray player, I'm sure you can get someone from North America to ship you one - they're under $50 for a "smart" player these days. If you want to crack them, the generally acknowledged utility is AnyDVD HD...

Maybe they'll hold it in a location that allows recording...

Damn... why does it always creep up on me?! Happy birthday!

Too bad few concerts allow recording, this would be great for those who can't attend. (There are a few that do allow you to record their performance - either in parts or in their entirety, like Video Games Live).

The Best Buy deal expires Tuesday at 7AM PT.
