OK, that's one point for you then :) Of course it's not impossible, but still I think it's not as easy as in North America :D I'm at work right now where all eBay sites are "blocked" :( , but I'll check it out when I'm home... in case I've not forgotten it by then *g* Thanks!

BTW, is there a chance that "part II" will "go online" soon?

Maybe in the US... but not in Germany :( And it's even harder to get a 3DO console in Germany... most auctions on either Item only allow bids from people living in North America :( edit: I've to admit that I don't know where Darkmage comes from, but in any case, I wanted to point out (not...

I would not say he could play every role, so I voted for "certain roles"... I have to admit that I'm too lazy to read the entire thread:D... I just want to add this: For those of you who didn't know: He did the voiceover of a "bad guy" in the game "Full Throttle"... one of the coolest games...

OK, but I think this is not a point here because you have to compare the *actual* behavior of the species... furthermore (according to the CIC's WC timeline) the Kilrathi evolution began 6 million years before human's evolution, but nevertheless the Kilrathi did not "make enough progress" to...

Maybe you should post this question in the "tech support" forum as well... (edit: Just in case this thread is moved to the tech support forum and anyone wonders why I wrote this, I wish to say that I posted this *before* the thread was moved :D) Is the card "sound blaster compatible"? Or...

Wow! I never expected this thread to last so long when I started it at Feb 2! I agree with Penguin and I don't agree with Ghost's last post... The Kilrathi have just shown too clearly that... "The Kilrathi do not coexist..." (Angel) And by that they "sealed their fate" because...

I got a "svenska" version of priv2 for win9x these days from software savings UK... so LOAF, if you don't have one already, this is your chance...they sell it for only 12 "british pounds" (not including shipping)

That just is not fair! After tracking the CIC news for years just to always read that there is no new "official" WC project in sight, I get sick for 3 days and (almost) miss what I waited all the year for :) BTW, for those of you who wondered why I haven't posted or visited #wingnut for...

Yesterday I tested if the CDs 2 and 3 from my german DOS version can be used with the english win9x version... and it worked!!!:D It should even work with the 1st CD because after installation only the movies are read from the CDs... this way I now can choose the "movie language" by...

Better get used to read the word canon very often... it's one of the most used words on this board :)... and my guess is that this is not gonna change in the near future:)

Sorry, but I have to pick up this matter again... got my copy from software savings today... a SVENKA version!!!  Well, as you said, the game itself is in english and I have the german manuals from my DOS version... but there is one bigger problem: They included the 1st CD...

I first had the floppy version which (of course) did not have full speech... so just like in WC1/2, the name you select at the beginning was used in the dialogs... but IMO nobody at Origin ever intended SC to be in any way *connected* to WC... it just would not make any sense IMO

Looks as if I did not pick the best words for the poll subject... what I meant was not if Confed had the *right* to destroy Kilrah (because the Kilrathi most likely would do the same once they get the chance) but if, under the given circumstances, it was *acceptable* to pick this "last choice"...

Sorry, I didn't know the *correct* meaning of the word "gauntlet", I thought of it to be some kind of ship you have to fight against :o :)

I don't know what kind of humor is needed to laugh about that, but IMO this just *hurts*... a radio station in Germany has a special jingle for jokes like this one: "A crime against the listener" :D

Sorry, but I don't get you  Excuse me to perhaps have *ruined* a really good joke... please list the cpu type and the other hardware components with their *official* names and perhaps I'll have some more advice for you

So Armada has a single player campaign with a story? I thought of to be only some kind of "mission builder/battle creator" with a multiplayer option... What it that "Gauntlet" you speak of?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning the right of the Kilrathi species to exist/survive, but Confed only destroyed Kilrah because they had no other choice to avoid their own extinction, and it was no easy decision for Paladin, Blair and all other involved... the Kilrathi on the other hand...
