You're welcome. Perhaps I got you wrong in one thing: My guess was that you've created a *real* DOS partition and just had some problems with the voodoo3, but from your last post it seems you want to play both directly in win9x (or in a DOS window)... For WC4 the win9x-patch surely is the...

I'm sure many Kilrathi dreamed (or still dream) of that day to come... one more reason no Kilrathi has a right to complain about what happened to Kilrah... if they got (or will ever get) there chance to do with Earth whatever they want, it will happen as said by the Emperor or Thrakhath (at the...

I'm not sure if the voodoo3 still supports the *old* VESA 1.2 standard, which is perhaps required for wc3/4 to work (I'm not sure because it's years since I install either of them)... did you check the link to the *old* support page which I've posted?

So there is a special cutscene showed if you kill the dreadnought even if earth will fall anyway? Or do you just refer to the *normal* cutscene that is shown whenever the kilrathi conquer earth?

I haven't tried yet to play wc3/4 DOS-versions with my voodoo3, because I have *older* machines I can use, but the voodoo3 alone shouldn't be much of a problem, it should be able to handle the *demands* of wc3/4 :) Of course you will need a proper DOS configuration (HIMEM.SYS, mouse/sound/cdrom...

(although I'm not Mekt I'd like to answer on that:D) Good reason(s)? 1) They are canon (IMO) 2) They *complete* the WC storyline, even more, they are an important part of it (at least End Run and Fleet Action) 3) Since there are no new *official* WC titles to come in the next (at least)...

Well, IMO kills are not what makes you famous or *decorated* (best example: Maniac:D)... more likely you get famous/decorated for playing a key role throughout entire campaigns, in very important missions, by endangering your life to save/protect others' life (and that more than once) and last...

Re: When will the Kilarathe be elimnated? OK, let's try a *serious* approach to your question... first of all, which WC titles have you played yet? Did you read any of the novels? Which of them? Perhaps this will help to understand why you think that the kilrathi will/should ever be...

Damn, I knew that her first name is the same as in real life, but I just didn't remember her last name:mad:... but I'm surprised/satisfied that I got the chance to be the first one to post an answer on the question:D

She's the newscaster of the TCN news in WC3 and WC4 (IIRC)

Although I have to say that IMO only the first 4 albums are worth to have "Metallica" printed on them:cool:, the others (including the black one) are... not worth to say anymore about them:mad:... wait! I forgot to add "Garage Days", that one was good, too (not to be mixed up with "Garage Inc."...

Can you post the link again? Or perhaps it would be better to add the link at the CIC files section... in that case the question is: into which game's section would it fit best? Prophecy? SO?

Hey Ghost, you really should paste that into your sig :) BTW, your current one is from a Metallica lyric ("Whereever I may roam" from "the black one" IIRC), isn't it?

To the CIC staff: how about adding "Software Savings" to the "where to buy" section?

Thanks... How's the gameplay? Any gamecrashes or other errors?

AFAIK just the english version was made "DirectX-compatible"... Where did you get yours from?

LOL But what I would like to know as well: WHEN did he say that? During a mission briefing, I assume... but in which mission of which campaign?

Did he really say that? Damn, somehow I missed that :(... when exactly did he say that?

I did not know about SWC before pics of it where shown in the CIC news some months ago... I'm quite confused about the VERY different opinions about SWC... so to get this straight: who played SWC on the 3DO/Mac, and what was better/worse compared to WC1 PC? And another question to those...

Did you get the version that needs P90/win9x/DirectX5 or the DOS version? If you got the "DirectX-version", where did you buy it? Why I ask that: I'm from Germany and I'm searching for an online shop who still sells the "DirectX-version" and ships to Germany at an "acceptable" price...
