Run it in 16-bit mode. It is a bit picky with ATI cards. I run it in 16-bit, 1024 and it's smooth.

In your Internet Explorer browser, type fttp://67.19.216.109 into your address bar, and if it prompts you for a name and password, just click 'anonymous' - from there, you'll be taken to a folder display. Double click the files folder, then mods folder, and you can download Standoff from there...

I've seen the first 11 episodes now, and my opinion is that it definitely finds its feet. I'm really enjoying it, and am getting drawn in. Stick with it, it ventures into some cool archtypes. :)

I believe that happens when there's no way you can progress down the mission tree by ejecting. So it's basically the same as dying. Certainly not the Easter Egg ;)

Playing the base attack mission should have informed everyone that flak hurts. A Lot. :) And the 'wrong way' thing.. I'm not sure, but when playing through it recently I saw what I thought to be the flak perhaps shooting at ejected pilots, making them easy for the picking.
