Basically, make it a compressed version of Heart of The Tiger or The Price of Freedom. Also, make the fighter designs like the ones from the games (1-4). I'll come up with more but I'm tired now.

I just go by the games (1-4). I never read the novels, seen the movie all the way through (yet), or play Prophecy. I'm all for a revival. Hopefully not a full reboot.

Call me crazy but I think the space simulator can bounce back if Electronic Arts can get a talented group of people to develop it. I mean, looking at Electronic Arts recently (2008-now), they are having a bit of a creative renaissance.
