slightly off-topic, but... Does anybody remember the bow-TIE fighter in the junk yard in Space Quest 3?

U1 kilrathi/empire? Was that a joke? It's been a long time since I've played U1. I don't remember the kilrathi or the Empire in it... They were tandy graphics, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed something big. (ugly sprites)

Baron, sir... Do all these copies of WCII(red? blue?) have voice packs?

FMV Games While WCIII/IV were close to being FMV games, they were stll space sims. Does anybody like/remember any good FMV games? Spycraft comes to mind, but I can't think of many others. Biohazard wasn't great. What made WCIII/IV so successfull was that they were still games, not just...

Geesh, you're proud! Skyfire: I've never argued that a war-time economy isn't strong. I've argued that in certain caste societies where there is an uneven distribution of wealth the lower class gets hit hard by the war effort. Like it or not, this was the case in imperialist France. As an...

No UK... what's with 3DO? Sadly, I don't live in the UK. What's this Pacific version? Is there an Atlantic version? Is SWC for the Mac better/worse/same/cheaper/harder to find than that for 3DO?

What's impressive is that the voice emoted the same as the actor Right. I mean even though she was voiced-over, it still looked natural and believable. I think that's certainly to the credit of the ability of both whoever did the voice-over and the original actor.

'Scuse me, while I kiss the sky... It also depends on the time of day and the season, you know. Blue skies are hard to find at night 8-0

er, are there big cats in France? All right, now that I don't feel like a loser talking about the fantasy society of big cats(understand, this isn't just my first time on a fan board... it's my first time in any chat at all, so I don't know exactly what to say and what not to say), I need to...

Does anyone want to see wing commander or Super Wing Commander on GBA? I mean, the hardware's perfect for it, with the scaling and the rotating and the mode 7 GLAVIN! (sorry. prof. frink. Does any watch the simpsons?)

Er, saturation bombing, anyone? Civilians are never representative of their government. I'm sure not every five or six year old little kilrathi boy was going "Let's kill some terrans!" I'm sure that there were a whole bunch in economic depression. I'm sure their women had to wear flea collars...

There's been some good acting by NORMAL standards! There HAS been good acting in video games, though. Whoever played Ghen in Riven was fantastic, as was Rand Miller as Atrus and what's-her-name as Catherine(some of the best voice over work ever, IMHO... her lips were never out of sinc with...

Sorry! But still, the question stands... Right! Sorry about that. Should've read the rules. Silly git. Still, does anyone know where I could PURCHASE WCII or Super Wing Commander?(I have access to a mac and a PC and an amiga, so platform doesn't matter)

movies in pc/mac version...? Is there some patch that allows me to add the missing movies to WCIII on PC or Mac? Since the files are there...

Hi! I own the original(not emulated) Amiga Wing Commander(not the CD32, though). Is super WC better? Where do I get it/is it worth the trouble of getting it? Also, I saw on that they have the Kilrathi saga. I don't own WCII... is there a place I could buy it, or can I download it with a clean...

"Or Could be reiterated by me at any time..." Reiterate! Reiterate! :-)

Stupid me! I'm so stupid! I was playing it on a playstation emulator, and my keyboard can only combine four keys if they're command or function keys. I sould've assumed it was all the shoulder-buttons pressed at once. Now whenever I play WCIII on the emulator, I just map all the shoulder...

Oops...Where can I find eps? Oops. What station did it air on? Are there any eps around on video tape?

Did anybody know that Mark Hammil was the Joker on the animated batman series? He also did the voice of the detective in Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers(opposite Tim Curry as Gabriel and Michael Dorn as Doctor John). That said, do you think he should voice-act one of the characters in the...

I own WCIII PSX, but no manual. Does anyone know the button combinations? I can't figure out auto-pilot... I'm flying manually between nav points...
