I never had the, err, pleasure of playing RA2. I haven't played RA1 since my DOS days. I remember playing X-Wing games after wing commander games, and having to unlearn my normal series of space-fight acrtions. What I used in one game would undoubtably get me killed in the other... Then I...

What do you think to be the best of the bunch? I really liked X-Wing, but I also liked rebel assault a good deal.

What do people think about X-Wing, Tie-Fighter and co.? Of course we all prefer WC, but I always thought they had a certain... charm. Not because they were star-wars, but because they played entirely different from WC, something which no other space-flight sim seams to attempt. PS: I'm just...

There's a poll going on today(July 3rd) at IGNPC, asking what the greatest space-flight sim ever was. X-Wing/Tie-Fighter is currently in the lead, with 37%, and WC is second, with 23.7. Maybe WC fans should vote? Go WC!

Is it just me, or is that mission easier in SWC than in Amiga WC1? On Amiga, I was just a lt. Colonel in Goddard. In SWC I was a colonel.

I'm aggressive when I don't take my medication.

I believe the exeter was called the "Gwenyvhar." Could be wrong, though.

I often approach head-on, but barrel-rolling. I rarely take shots-- The key is to be able to rapidly fire. Choose one(1) gun that shoots quickly(in WC1, lasers and Mass driver-- I prefer the mass driver), hold on to the trigger and charge the other ship-- I've destroyed many a Jalthi that way...

Using CVGS on a mac, WC3 screens are as easy as command-shift-3. E-mail me at theangrybunny@yahoo.com, tell me what screens you want, and I'll dig out my ol' G3 233 and take 'em for you:) SWC screens are also painless, if you want any.

I don't know anything about him, but I do know I loved the music in Quake 1.

Recently, I've been rediscovering lots of my old mac, pc and amiga games. Beneath a steel sky, The DIG, Sam and Max, Baldur's gate. I'm starting to think that 3D flare isn't really all that important:) Of course, I'll change suit the second DOOMIII is released.

Here.

"The" can be rearranged to make "Eth."

I have an aunt who was arrested for just that. I never said I was thinking realisticly. I was just wondering what games others would include in the box-- what the WC cream of the crop is, let's say. That's all. I wasn't expecting or hoping for actual re-releases. Just wondering what others...

Depends on the hotel. Lots of swanky hotels have tvs with S-Video inputs, because of all the businessmen who have powerpoint(shudder) presentations or other kinds of presentations on their laptops, and need to see how it mirrors. Whindam hotels have A/V input.

I.. Hmm. Well, I... Err... Good God, that was so confusing I think my heads going to blow up. Please, no comments on how it would be an improvement.

Would you include Armada and Academy, too?

Isn't WC3 Mac identical to WC3 PC? I've never played WC3 mac.

Thanks to Prophecy GBA, I've been thinking about ports and updates a lot recently. If there were to be an anthology WC box, which titles would you include? I'd include: Super Wing Commander Wing Commander 2, 3, 4 Wing Commander Privateer 1,2 Wing Commander Prophecy Gold... And I'd make...

Just wondering, what's your preffered input device for WC games? Joystick? Keyboard? Keyboard and Mouse? Gamepad?
