WC2 > WC3 > WC4 The Kilrathi just kept looking worse and worse.

I have a GEForce4 MX and I am having the exact same problem -- skipping video in WC Prophecy :(

I thought it was weird in WC4 how after you decide to save Catscratch or let him die, either way after the next cutscene you never see him again. I imagine they were too cheap to film a scene with him and a scene without him.

Nice! I always wondered what the agency photos of celebs looked like. I'm putting this guy's shop on my bookmark page :D

My dogs have eaten more important CD-ROM's in the past ... I feel for you, buddy.

Apparently, I got the exact same error as stated in the first post, how about that. I just modified the DOS Box configuration as per WUQKED's instructions, now I'll skim through and see if the other tips help.

It was not my impression to hijack/gatecrash anyone's thread. I didn't want to clutter this technical forum with yet another thread with an easy answer, which I just received. And yes, there is a relation, this is about Privateer technical problems (not to be asinine, rafiqam, but your post here...

You can't assume that this guy one guy said "aww, I hate Wing Commander!" and put all the games on ebay. I've sold valuable things in my Star Wars collection before. In particular, 2 very important items, which I had to sell because I needed money fast and there was nowhere else to get it. This...

Is it worth "seizing the moment" then saying stupid things as Blair? Any funny or interesting dialogue? I never tried it before, didn't seem worth my time, but who knows.

dbseavey, Your query should really be directed toward the tech support forum. Before you ask there, though, I'll tell you what I did; I am able to run WC4 on Windows XP perfectly since I have the wc4 windows 95 patch. I'm not quite sure where you'd find it now, just do a search on google...

I'm surprised, just recently the dollar was quite weak against the Euro. What brought this on?

I get this message when trying to run Privateer. I am using DOSBox 0.61. Is there an easy way out of this that I'm overlooking? If so, will the fix also help me run the Ultima 7 games?

Well well, don't I feel welcome :D

Nice price for the whole saga. Now I have every game except for Armada, hope to find that soon ...

If you play WC4 and bring Blair to the assembly where Tolwyn is declared Space Marshall, and you don't use the correct cinema choices, Blair is executed -- for treason, I think, but it's been a long time since I've watched that scene.

No point in the discussion per se, Amerika, I just wanted to provide some background, that's all. Tolwyn's mistake for assigning him, then.

Since I played WC4 for the first time in 1996, I thought it was moronic of Paulsen to send Blair and Vagabond to stop Eisen and Maniac. Paulsen was killed because he was a spectacular failure. Before the Lexington was destroyed, he probably had a good performance record, despite his being a prick.

Actually, the entire point of the Genetic Enhancement program was to have a superior strain of human beings acting in a military capacity. In addition to being products of the GE program, they would also have to undergo screening to be "qualified" for service in the BL. You can't assume that...
