actually, I have a question - I have WC3 KS version running (just about), but it randomly crashes, usually on cutscenes - especially just after landing etc. so i often dont get to save game (which is, to put it mildly, annoying). I also have the original WC3, would it actually be more stable...

Descent was great, im only just starting to play Freespace 2 - mainly I got it for the Saga mod too (as i did Nexus). anybody remember Terminal Velocity? the gamplay wasnt that great, but for the time the graphics were outstanding, I think it's what MS repackaged as one of the first Win95...

well they do have a point about the sequels, and as Im not into sports games anyway, im not really their biggest fan nowadays... (although I do play Battlefield 1942 a lot)

try copying the entire cd's to a folder on ur HD and installing with the setup.exe in Windows 95 compatability mode...

actually you're right - i just looked at it @ 1024x768 and at that it still has some vertical scroll. I also never noticed the stock photography and they are a bit simplistically symbolic i suppose - on another note theres a Trip Hawkins interview in GamesTM about the 3DO magazine and he doesnt...

in fairness there's nothing wrong with something being aesthetically pleasing as long as its still easily legible, and the layout of that site is both in my opinion, it looks more like a magazine, which is fine by me. I believe the layout is that way as it is available in PDF format aswell.

its working now actually - wot happened was AJ.exe did work, but the first time I ran it after using it - i used alt+j or alt+o and the minute i went to that it ruined it - works well now thou :)

unfortunately i did yeh, and its still not working :s im running 'armadadb.exe' from dosbox, also in desperation i tried running 'aj.exe' aswell but it made no difference :s the fire buttons work, but none of the axes :(
