Note the "Please insert WingDisk2: In any drive..." box.

Another thing: The second of the three disks held the saved games and I learned quickly to make backups of the second disk as it had a tendency to become corrupted for some reason.

I don't know how many of you played WC on the Amiga 500 (like I did), but to show how it was I put together a video on the first McAulife mission on an emulated Amiga 500. The amiga 500 had a 7½ Mhz CPU, 512kb RAM and no harddrive (as standard anyways) which meant you had to switch the three...

Great work!

Very interesting read. Thank you for your (game) service! I discovered Wing Commander back in 93 or 94 for the Amiga 500 myself. It was a slide-show running but I didn't care (still don't).

And "boo" to you good sir.

I always wanted a Dralthi mk 1 as a model. I wonder if 3D-printing can provide that in the future? :)

Speaking of upgrades. I upgraded earlier in the year eventhough I don't really play much of anything anymore. I feel as SQ42 and Star Citizen will be the final games I'd do upgrades for in my life. There are no other AAA-titles I'm interested in and haven't in a very long time. Starfield killed...

Thanks for the info! Been looking forward to Squadron 42.

Same ship the guy from the WC4 intro flew with, cool!

I've never even thought about the stations possibly not being the same.

Sharp eyes!

Happy b-day!

No argument here.

Just a brief post: I can recommend Starfield to scratch that Privateer itch. It's not Star Citizen though neither is Star Citizen. It's not overly complicated and a good way to spend your gaming hours.

This might be my autistic side talking but I always found WC4 cd's very cool looking.

I always loved the WC1 dorkir. The "head" is the best part visually.

I wish I had the reflexes I had 10 years ago.

Happy b-day to both!

I would check out the channels other (non-WC) videos too. I never knew there were so many Interactive Movie games made in the 90's.
