AFAIK overclocking is fine, but you have to have the right RAM specs & settings. Needs a more efficient cooling fan, too. Random failures? Had those when my 486 was o'c to 103 Figured I to had set the wait state back from 0 to 1. <ugh> felt like a neanderthal in a world of plug n play...
