I don't remember it being any easier. The most annoying design decision about Wing Commander SNES I remember was that the AI would truly attack you one at a time (true to the lore in Claw Marks were Kilrathi wingmen would take turns to attack), while the other AI would keep a perfect distance...

As per the update to the original post. I have a new alpha release for my game, Absolute Territory. The biggest change is the art style. If you play, I'd appreciate feedback around using the mission editor.

Hey guys, I decided to try out WC4 GOG version after many years sitting in my library. It's the DVD version I'm trying. It takes 10+ seconds for the movie to continue playing after selecting a dialogue choice. In that time it just appears to be frozen from the point you select the dialogue...
