I thought i'd share this peculiar Wing commander happenstance story with you all. I was recently playing through Secret Missions 1 and was on the supply depot strike mission. Paladin had exploded and five Gratha were giving me grief, so I started circling the depot, which often causes...

Found it. Yay. Spoiler (hopefully) concealed below for anyone still looking. On to translating, huzzah!

Thank you for your cheery comments good grammar-conscious reader. :D

Hello, it's me again. I can't help but feel a bit of a swine for posting this, considering the number of projects i've started and stopped abrupty once inspiration fizzled, including Front Lines itself. Having played the exceptional Standoff episode 5 however, I find myself in a Wing...

I misread that as '2009' and was going to make an elaborate and foolish 'EEEEEEEEEK! We're all going to die!' rant, but now I have to wait 20 years to do it. *sigh*

Would that I could record it, alas i've a singing voice like a dying horse and need three like minded individuals for the chorus. If oppertunity permits, I shall do so. You mean this one?: http://www.crius.net/zone/showthread.php?t=24332

Hmmmmm, it was a tricky thing and I probably should have worked on it a bit more before posting it. I shall strive to do zippedi doo daa when I can find something fitting... i'm thinking Thrakhath. In the meantime I have something standoff themed, link below. I tried to keep the stresses...

Greetings. Recently i've taken to rewording and Wing-commanderising popular tunes, and thus I present this odd tribute to Standoff's protagonist, Captain Bradshaw. The song is based on 'I am the Captain of the Pinafore' from Gilbert and Sullivan's 'HMS Pinafore'. To see the original song...

Something a bit different. Based on 'I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General' from Gilbert and Sullivan's 'Pirates of Penzance', I have written this cheery tribute to Admiral Tolwyn, Wing Commander's most revered despotic lunatic. To see the original song, click here...

I had the same kind of idea once for a siera-esque Wing Commander adventure game. One slight problem was that I had no idea what I was doing. The program I used turned out to be less user friendly and idiot proof than i'd hoped and the 'project' soon fell to pieces. Ralgath however has...

For the PC i'm going to say a perculiar RTS called 'Thandor' which I can only describe as a hybrid of Command and Conquer and Red Dwarf. Its single player campaign consisted of about 6 missions, combat was laughably slow, as were the units themselves. I had to download a patch and translate a...

Hello all, i've returned from the shadowy realm of silence and nothingness with another attempt at a story. First off, appologies to all Front Lines fans, I think at this point I must finally admit defeat with that story. After three years and a number of desperate last minute storyline...

Greetings, sorry for the long space between any kind of anything for this project but I really did need some time away. This continuation takes place after a fair few chapters which I haven't written yet. My plan is to release book 1, (up to just after the battle with the Hvarkann) once i've...

Greetings, First off, for regular readers of Front Lines I know it's been a long time since my last update. The reason being, if i'm honest, I think it's going downhill on an increasingly steep slope. Too many new characters and story lines disguising my growing lack of direction and...

At a guess, I don't think that's what AD meant. Anyway, let's have a look at this. Hmmm, it starts off with some easily recognisable chunks of my Armaggedon video, then moves on to a WC4 trailer, then if i'm not mistaken crescendos with bits of AD's Dallas themed video. Taking one specific...

I've done that, I kind of cheated though. Basically I just save up all my missiles, hurl each and every one at Thrakhath from a distance, charge back to the Victory and hope for the best. It normally works. I think you can only kill thrakhath and return to the victory on the non-kilrathi saga...

There's a jump-point nav on the nav map which you can select and fly to on autopilot. Maybe the mission was originally intended to let you get a little way with the Behemoth before it kaploded. Or maybe it's just scenery. Either way you can blow it up. But yeah, I suppose that's as good a...

I ended up trying to save the Behemoth more times then I care to admit, I even tried alternate strategies such as going to the Kilrah nav point and blowing up the jump buoy. (Not sure what I hoped to achieve.) Interestingly, after trying that i'd fly home, (having ignored the behemoth...

Greetings all. This one's a considerable shift from my standard doom, death and destroy all ye see type of video, it's something of an exploration of Flint's reaction to Blair picking Rachael set to 'I'm not that girl' from the Wicked soundtrack. I doubt it'll appeal to many, but oh well...

Greetings, this delay was a bit longer then normal and for that I apologise but I’m hoping that it will have all proved worth the wait with the upcoming chapters. I have some new plans for Front Lines, it shall be even more ambitious then before, new characters from varied walks of life and...
