Prophecy Gets The Music Treatment (April 19, 2005)

A few people were disappointed when we mentioned the last of the music videos last week, but that was specifically referring to Plywood Fiend. We should have one or two more over the next week, and the next one up is AD's combination of Prophecy and "All By Design" by Big Wreck. This one comes in the form of a 10 meg low res clip and a 68 meg high res version.

For any one interested, here are the lyrics to this song:

Quote:
So we were on our way home
On the right bus
I just want to ask the driver
If it's not too much fuss
To drop me at the old lady's
And pick me up tomorrow
If you could, If you could

It's all by design
To keep me from losing my mind

Well I was on my way there
And it was just around the corner
I caught a funny stare and I started a fight with the owner

Well it's the whole nine yards
And I fold all my cards in your face, oh
'Cause I love what is real
And I loved you my dear
Before you were replaced
Oh, you were replaced

And it's all by design
To keep me from losing my mind

So I saw you over there
And acted like I don't care
'Cause I've never seen something that made me stare

Yea, so then we run through your backyards
And throw all my press cards in your face
Yea in your face
Because I love what is real
And I loved you my dear before I was replaced
I was replaced

And it's all by design
To keep me from losing my mind
It's all by design to keep us from losing our minds

We were on our way home
And we were on the right bus
I just want to tell the driver
Don't bother 'cause it's a bust

looks great! I'm just wondering, does the GBA version have any of these video sequences included in the game? (probably not)

From what I understand (I don't have the GBA version yet) there isn't video sequences but they did do a few of the cutscenes using the games 3d engine. Most of the conversations are done using text boxes.

Heres some more indepth info on the port: http://www.wcnews.com/wcpgba.shtml

Here's a vid of the GBA intro: http://www.raylight.it/WCPwebsite/WCPvideo1.zip or here if that doesnt work: http://download.wcnews.com/files/wcp/wcpgbaintro.avi

Here's a link for another vid showing gamplay and more: http://216.98.153.53/~admin4/video/wclan.wmv but I don't know if it still works. And, I didn't see it in the CIC's file section

That was cool, a fine mix of action scenes and scenes involving Stiletto, all good things.

Thanks AD!

I would echo all the compliments above -- a varied mix of scenes that align well with the tempo of the song, as well as a number of small touches such as the Origin jingle lead-in and the solarise effect over the Prophecy titles.

Cheers,

BrynS
