Is there any way to get subtitles in Privateer with the sound card enabled?

thanks

I for one am not sure... I have some VERY foggy memory (no, I was sober at the time ) of subtitles and speech, but maybe I was just comparing the two different experiences (comparing memory-notes, like). You could always disable sound effects, I suppose. No cannon/gun/blaster-noise, no speech, just subtitles and music.

Yep, there´s no way to have both the speech AND the subtitles at the same time.
