Long Live the Confederation!
Internet art showcase DeviantArt is a great place to find awesome Wing Commander fan art... but it's also full of endless amounts of ridiculous nonsense. And today we're celebrating two recent ones! The first is by Nintendoman01 and it's a subject near and dear to my heart: a reimagining of the 'Warrior King' character whose story ended in Wing Commander Academy!

Herai, the Warrior King

My reimagining of the Warrior King, a lesser-known character from a big meta-project undertaken by the USA Network back in the 90s.

He, and a magic orb that sustains his world, appeared in four different shows the network aired: chronologically in this order, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm, Savage Dragon, and Wing Commander Academy.

As for his name, my buddies and I worked it out. Herai, since he's basically in the same vein as He-Man and Lion-O.

And the second one is a little more risque. But we do have to celebrate someone going with the original, ah, six breasted design for a female Kilrathi! This is by https://www.deviantart.com/dekreteone/art/Kilrathi-Pilot-Design-Sketch-1245283858DeKreteOne

Kilrathi Pilot - Design Sketch

I wanted to draw a character based on the Kilrathi priestess of Sivar from Wing Commander. I have yet to do more with her, this is a fairly old sketch, but she works with the humans.

So now are we going to have a debate weather the Kilrathi Females have more than one pair ? :P

The priestess you see in Secret Missions 2 has six... the one on the wall in the Prophecy temple has two.

It turns out it's not so clear cut with regular cats! They can have between four and ten nipples.

Paizuri references?
On my cic?

Jokes aside it's kinda funny how the two depictions of Kilrathi women in the games is a cute catgirl in a bikini in WC1 and a jacked as fuck jungle predator in the Prophecy intro. The latter might be my favourite take on the Kilrathi in the live action games even if it was just a mural.
