[Bandit LOAF]

There's a piece of IMDb trivia that claims the poster in Blair's quarters is Freddie Prinze Jr.'s future wife, Sarah Michelle Gellar. I hate to ruin a non-Star Wars-related Wing Commander factoid but...

... it's not true. It's one of several propaganda posters made for the Tiger Claw sets (note the Confed flag behind her) and like the ones in other quarters and the lounge the lady is a stock photo model from a collection licensed by the production.

I don't know who she is but as you can see I've found the source photo for the first time! Plus another one from the same shoot. Today she shows up frequently as the graphic for scammy social media accounts in search of wealthy American husbands.

I also found her on a Czech translation of a romance novel by... Jude DEVERAUX! Which is pretty on-the-nose, IYKYK.

[Malcolm Reynolds]

Now this is the kind of insanely obscure fan research I live and breathe for.

[Bandit LOAF]

Hah, thanks! It's so much fun to do this stuff.

[kingmakeress]

How many (pinup? recruitment?) posters were in total?

[Bandit LOAF]

Here's an article that tries to catalog all the ones in the rec room: https://www.wcnews.com/news/2019/12/21/visual-guide-addendum-pin-ups

Hi Bandit LOAF. The woman is me. Yes, it is from stock footage. The photographer is Jack Cutler. You can find him on IG @jack_cutler_foto. You can find me on Instagram, too, @raeclineauthor.

I never received any royalties for the stock photo in Wing Commander, of course, but Jack photographed a fantastic portfolio for me for free. I had a few trade magazine covers but nothing big. This poster in Wing Commander is definitely my 5 minutes that were really only seconds . I do have a debut novel releasing in August 2026. You can read more on my IG and also my author site at raecline.com.

Thanks for the shout out. Happy gaming! ❤️

Oh wow, thank you so much for telling us the rest of the story! I'll do an update on the front page (and let folks know about your novel).
