@Destro

Is it possible to include the music for Wing Commander III Kilrathi Saga in the Wing Loader GoG KS Upgrade as it was intended? Because the WC3MUSIC.TRE is not the same on every Kilrathi Saga CD. They have different sizes, because the music for the recroom is different on every CD.

I have renamed every WC3MUSIC.TRE file according to the CD where its taken from and modified the WC3.CON to include the files in the game.

CD1MUSIC.TRE (56.440 KB)
CD2MUSIC.TRE (56.030 KB)
CD3MUSIC.TRE (56.382 KB)
CD4MUSIC.TRE (55.610 KB)

The frame rates are no problem. I can set the framerates with Alt + N and Alt + M.
Just playing with 12 fps to make the escort missions easier. I'm playing the gog version.
Joystick is an alternative although I heard it would be tough to calibrate...
came / registered to say thanks :
just installed the GOG version, and everything seems soooo fast in flight...
when i played on my brother's Amiga 500 (30+years ago) it all seems to be slow-is and later on emu it had the same Amiga framerate / speed...

Now, I've installed the game following the instructions from 0.92 Wing loader post
(https://www.wcnews.com/chatzone/threads/wing-loader-ks-wcdx-loader-voice-over-mod.30387/post-415220)

And i ended up inserting "WingLoader" and "WC_wcdx" to steam to get the gamepad's customization and then
in "nvidia app" and "nvidia control panel" in an effort to limit game's speed / frame rate

but nothing seemed to work for the framerate reduction !!
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
ASUS STRIX GTX 970 DirectCU II OC NVIDIA 4 GB

ΜSI X470 Gaming Pro

2x8GB (16GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16

Now, i started searching up form page 4 to page i-don't-recall-what-number
and then decided to go reverse order and stumbled on your post !

Thank you so much !!!
Seems my brain was hard-coded to Amiga's frame rate !
got to the lowest in-flight framerate to match that speed !!
then added some to make it smoother...
Now i can play it !!
if only the speech animation could speed up a bit, it would match the audio timing !! but -hey, at least it's playble now !!

Oh- and "thank you" to everybody that contributed on getting this game to this state one-way-or-another !!

Hey!!! First off, welcome! Second, Thanks you! I'm glad Wing Loader helped get you all setup and flying the way you like! I know that Alt+N & Alt+M will adjust the space flight framerate. I know that WC2 (Kilrathi Saga) has some issues like the animation speed and FPS will not go past 14FPS and has a lot of frame stuttering below that, but I'm glad that your having fun!!!!! Cheers!

Interesting. Yes, I will totally look into that. Thanks for the info!!!!

First I have not had time to play your mod. Sorry! I am curious to know if you have implemented or can implement an auto save after the final WC1 mission? I ask this because you can receive medals in it and since the game does not allow you to save after the last mission you can never transfer your pilot with all the medal you have earned to Secret Mission.
Ideally an auto save after SM 1&2 as well would be nice too and maybe WC2 and SO.

Thanks for all your hard work. I truly look forward to playing it.
