Wedge009
Rogue Leader
Just for fun and nostalgia, after noticing the 3D co-ordinates of the nav points in Privateer were recorded in WCPedia, I put together a little something to visualise it in 3D space. The 2D maps of certain systems are ingrained in my memory from previous plays, but it was surprisingly interesting to see how they actually appear in 3D.
Source is at https://github.com/Wedge009/atlas-stellaire, live site is at https://wedge009.net/atlas-stellaire/. There is a faithful 2D reproduction, a 3D view, and the 3D view can be re-aligned with the original 2D presentation.
What I'd appreciate help with is a few inconsistencies I found - I'd like to know what the real 3D co-ordinates are, assuming they may have been transcribed incorrectly from (presumably) the game source. Judging by the edits I made, these are:

- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Ragnarok - Looks like a missing negative sign on Nav 3.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Rikel - Hidden 1's co-ordinates looked like it was off by 10000 units in all axes.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Crab-12 - The Hidden asteroid field looked completely out of place.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Delta - Looks like another missing negative sign on Nav 1.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Rygannon_(star_system) - Ditto for Nav 1.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Freyja - The jump points looked to be reversed, I checked in-game, but would prefer someone else confirming this in case I made a mistake.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Pender's_Star - The co-ordinates for Nav 2 looked completely off, since it's supposed to be encountered on a straight-line auto-pilot between Nav points 1 and 3.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Hind's_Variable_North - Missing negative sign for Nav points 4 and 5.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Raxis - Looks like a transcription error in the co-ordinates for the Hidden point.
- https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Saxtogue - The co-ordinates for the Hidden point looks completely wrong, assuming it's supposed to lie between Nav points 2 and 3.
