Someone should lobby to get GOG to use this instead of whatever archaic non-functional version of dosbox they're currently using.

You're suggesting that GOG fix or improve something that would be incredibly simple to do and only improve their product? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAA

You could always just replace it yourself. Download the GOG version and replace the DOSBox in it. I've done it before on other products.

Then again, aren't a couple of WC games part of their "preservation program"? Surely that means they do more...?

And they're not able to include the Nuked emulator with their release - the Nuked license (MAME license) prohibits commercial distribution. So if you want to use the SC-55 stuff you have to do it yourself anyways.

You would think, but they haven't fixed the missing file in Wing Commander Academy that THEY REMOVED which causes a hard crash when you try to run a mission... or the corrupted music file in their Wing Commander IV DOS files that stops you from playing past the first CD...

Yeah, but if you're charging twenty dollars for a thirty year old game and don't make an effort to keep it playable I'm not sure what excactly I'm supposed to be paying for.
