Veteran Spaceman
Hey all! The new guy is back!
After spending countless hours trying to beat Jotunheim in SM1, I decided to take a break and do something else, and after some inspiration here, I decided to make a Wing Commander timeline cuz why not?
It also includes Crusader and System Shock! Ultima may be added in future.
UPDATE! Added Strike Commander and Ultima.
Ultima is set in the distant past for now until I can figure out where the modern day sections are
UPDATE2: i figured ultima timeline out, and added metal morph

Nice! I hope you will complete it soon ☺️☺️

I noticed the odd table format in your initial post. You can edit it if you want to correct it.

EH this is more of an OriginVerse™ timeline trying to connect everything regardless of common sense than an actual timeline so maybe

Update! Added Ultima, Strike Commander and a few other abscure bits and pieces of media in main post

Thanks! do you have any idea how to fix the discrepancy in dates between System Shock and Crusader? the only solution I can think of is that the WEC made a SHODAN 2.0 maybe

Pretty cool project!

You could add the other two Strike Commander tech spinoffs, Wings of Glory (1917-1918) and Pacific Strike (1941-1945)!

Privateer 2 is 2790 (I know some older sources online say 2789, this was in error).

By design, time works differently in Ultima with the different worlds moving at different speeds... but just the Wing Commander references are going to confuse things a little!

- In Super Wing Commander, we see the Avatar flying through the Ethereal Void. That means that Wing Commander I (2654) is concurrent with the ending of Serpent Isle (363 BC).

- The Bloodfang seen landed in Ultima VII (361 BC) matches the model flown by Prince Thrakhath at the end of Wing Commander II (2667).

- In Underworld II (362 BC), the Trilkhai are said to have devolved from the Kilrathi following their loss (implied to be in the distant past) to the humans (Wing Commander III, 2669).

Oh wow thanks!

It's probably easier to say that Avatar flying through the void in WC1 as a sort of anchor point and that the WC2 kilrathi fighter in U7 is a prototype or whatever.

Also, in UU2, considering that Kilorn Keep is a seperate dimension altogether it's probably that the Avatar is actually time travelling into the future to keep things simpler.

That is, unless there's some other connection I don't know of

Also also, I would have added Metal Morph and the like but I can't find any tangible easter eggs or anything between anything there and the rest of the OriginVerse, so as soon as I find any connection i'll add them to the timeline.

oh god no....

the brittannian calendar switches length between each game...

i really need to brush up my maths I guess...

Metal Morph uses the same cutscene for the ship jumping as Privateer (created for the latter)!

Knights of Legend is another one that ties back to Ultima, Seggallion travels from that game to the middle Ultimas.

You can find Chris Roberts in Ultima 5 and he'll tell you he's working on making Times of Lore.

Timelining Ultima sounds like a (fun?) nightmare. Good luck! :D

well it's been 18 minutes and i've just hit time dilation...

thanks for the luck, im gonna need it...

here's some math i've done:
361 B.C. in the u6 calendar=2654 AD in WC1.
assuming the u6 calendar was adopted immediately at the beginning of u6 (161 B.C.), and that per the Ultima Codex,The year is divided in 12 months which are divided into 4 weeks of 7 days and Each day is divided into 24 hours,

200 years between u6 (161 B.C.) and u7p2 (363 B.C.)

1 year in u6 calendar is 336 days,

so 200 years of u6 calendar = 200x336=67,872 days

1 gregorian year = 365.2425 days,

so 67,872/365.2425 = 185.825 approx.

therefore, 2654-185=2468.173 AD=161 B.C.

now, assuming the u5 calendar wass adopted as soon as u5 began (139 B.C.) till u6 (161 B.C.), and per Ultima Codex
The year has 13 months of 28 days each, for a total of 364 days.

22 years between both games.

22x364=8008 days

8008/365.2425=21.925 years

2468.173-21.925=2446.248 A.D.

assuming u4 (139 b.c.) calendar was used since u1 (0 B.C.), and The year has 12 months of 30 days each, for a total of 360 days. per ultima codex,

total years=139

days=139x360=50,040
50,040/365.2425=137.004 years approx.

therefore, 2446.248-137.004=2,309.244 approx. = 0 B.C.

after this point i gave up, gave the calculations to AI and let it decode the individual dates itself.

I don't know physics but according to AI time dilation would ensure the avatar experiences no aging in the middle of each game.

im tired

heres the end result per AI:
