I just set the game res to a 4:3 using the OPENGL tool. But WC4 doesn't have such a thing, is their a config for WC4's resolution somewhere? TYIA.

My guess is the resolution was fixed at 640x480. You can try to use some tools provided by your videocard or monitor manufacturer to help "stretch" the game. In my experience it does not look good and I would opt for the black bars on the side.

The game cinematics are stretched. that's what I don't want, I did find a work around, if I just set the res on my PC to 1400 by 1550 then it matches the in game combat, there's no way to tell it to do that each time? Kind of a pain to do it every time.
