Bandit LOAF

Long Live the Confederation!
Here's one we can't explain. Take a close look at this establishing shot of Admiral Tolwyn's office from Wing Commander Academy's Invisible Enemy. Most of the details are consistent with it's appearance in other episodes: the clear desk, the hexagonal window, the circular ceiling lights, the door to the left, the sculpture by the window and even the green couch are all visible in the same places in other episodes. But what this particular shot adds is… a coffee table with something very unusual on it.

So now we put the question to you: what the heck is Commodore Tolwyn's stuffed animal? It looks so familiar but no one has been able to place it yet! As far as we can tell it appears only in this one background on the entire show…

Reminded me of something, One of the letters in Voices of War (p. 25) had a kid send his father his lucky "Mister Cat" plush. Maybe that guy didn't make it, and the plush somehow found its way to Tolwyn who ended up keeping it as a reminder of the price of freedom. Pretty sure nothing in time or space lines up for that, but it was a pretty dark end to that thread I thought I could share.
