How to change the music for Secret Ops?

[Wedge009]

IIRC, only the Cobalt 60 simulator music is available for SO, however, copying the MUSIC.TRE file/s from Prophecy can restore the orchestral compositions from Oldziey.

Regardless, selection is done via: https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Category:Wing_Commander:_Secret_Ops#Cheats

I have tried copying MUSIC.TRE from Prophecy, it won't change the music to Oldziey.

I've changed the music from the Secret Ops type music to a mix of Megadeth and other metal n thrash. Good for making the bugs explode.

Hey @JasonRocZ - are you going to to restart work on Collateral Damage? (I know, totally not at all on point for this thread).

I guess the mission files themselves would need to be modified in order to use Oldziey's dynamic soundtrack.

What kind of app to use to modify the tracks?

@Muz1234 - did you try: https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Music_Switcher

It won't run in Win 10...

You may have to run it in dosbox
