Thanks Destro sounds very eccentric, I'll keep that in mind if I troubleshoot further!Joystick can be tough, especially in WC2. From my testing, I have a (Saitek Cyborg Evo) I needed to restart my computer, connect the joystick, calibrate in Windows, then open the game with the joystick connected. Using the in-game Calibration has never really worked for me. If you connect the joystick while the game is running can cause joystick drift and sometimes stay glitched until the computer is restarted. Though, this is not a real fix or anything but just the steps that worked for me. I am working on a joystick wrapper for another project but still early days.
Update: Got controls to behave by setting my RH flight stick as the 'preferred device for older programs' through windows' game controllers dialogue box's advanced settings. Never needed to touch this before as all my configs are usually handled by my sticks' config utility.
The thing that was confusing me was how all my devices could be unplugged or hidden and Wc2 would still freak out. But with the setting mentioned above I can have everything connected and mouse works as normal, with the RH stick used sensibly for flight control.
